Rugby Kit for Juniors and Minis

If you're running a successful rugby club, you're likely to have a juniors and minis section. This covers all the boys and girls that want to play rugby from five years old and upwards, and who will hopefully enjoy the game enough to keep playing when they become adults. Lots of clubs across the UK invest a great deal of time in their junior sections, and that includes providing them with quality rugby kit.

Why do little ones need good rugby kit? Minis start playing early on, and enthusiasm is more important at this stage than what they wear, but as soon as your minis start playing games against other clubs, you're going to want them to be wearing a version of your club kit so that they can identify themselves with your club, and so that they're easily identifiable by other teams. Rugby union is played from September to May, meaning that minis and juniors are often playing in the colder weather, so they need to have good quality rugby kit and the right protection to ensure they enjoy playing whatever the weather.

Rugby clubs are mostly operated on a voluntary basis, and fees for juniors and minis are low. That means that although it takes a great deal of time and energy to run a junior section, there's not a huge amount of money coming into the club. There's nothing more satisfying than encouraging children to take part in a sport you love, and because rugby offers so many benefits to those who take part, a thriving minis and juniors section is a great reflection on the way your club operates – and kitting them out in your club's rugby team kits can make all the difference to their attitude on and off the pitch.
